Episode Notes

Having Billie Best as a guest on Trust Tree Talks was a no brainer for hosts Elizabeth Holmes and Lisa Schauer. Billie’s straight-talking blog and social media feeds offer great insight into her experience of aging in our society. The title of her forthcoming memoir, How I Made a Huge Mess of My Life (or Couples Therapy with a Dead Man), shows you that Billie is here for truth telling. We recruited her to provide a chapter in our anthology Omitted from My Obituary (out this summer), so you have that to look forward to. In this episode a few of the topics we cover in our chat are: her decision to move from a farm in Massachusetts to a condo in Portland, the impact of menopause and sex after fifty. We hope you have as much fun listening as we did with Billie.
